About Stacy

Passionate. Pragmatic.
Built to get it done.

My story

“There has to be a better way.”

That magical phrase became the impetus for everything Stacy Derrick, EMBA, has built — and it remains her go-to phrase for everything she does to this day.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park and an Executive MBA, Stacy has spent her career at the intersection of people and progress. She doesn’t just advise — she rolls up her sleeves and builds alongside you. Passionate and pragmatic, she regularly implements new systems to support and unify teams, and has built a reputation as the person others turn to when they need ideas connected, projects finished, and results delivered.

As co-founder of Help in the Home, LLC and Help in the Home Clinical Services, Stacy helped create organizations dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality support to adults living with mental illness and developmental disabilities. She was also a co-creator of CIPA Connect — a collaborative alliance building a national standard for community integration, supporting programs that help individuals with serious mental illness live full, connected, and meaningful lives. She serves on the boards of directors of multiple nonprofits, bringing strategic clarity and genuine heart to every table she sits at.

Today, Stacy channels that same energy into coaching small business owners through Stacy Derrick Creative — helping entrepreneurs at every stage build the operational systems they need to grow with confidence. She specializes in systems design and operations strategy, because she believes that the right systems don’t just grow businesses — they change lives.

Where vision meets done — that’s Stacy Derrick.
